Enrique Cruz se impone en casa y se lleva la Etapa 14 del Ranking Profesional de Golf (RPG) 2025

San Juan del Río, Qro. — El pasado 28 de julio, el espectacular campo del Club de Golf San Gil fue escenario de la Etapa 14 del Ranking Profesional de Golf (RPG) 2025, donde el nivel competitivo y el talento de los profesionales volvió a quedar de manifiesto.

En esta jornada, Enrique Cruz, representante del club anfitrión, firmó una gran ronda de 70 golpes, que lo llevó a coronarse campeón en su propio campo. Su conocimiento del terreno y su consistencia fueron clave para quedarse con el primer lugar.

El segundo puesto fue para Salvador Rodríguez, profesional de Alamo Country Club, quien entregó una tarjeta de 72 golpes, seguido muy de cerca por Pablo Rincón del Club de Golf El Campanario, quien completó su ronda con 73 golpes.

Esta etapa fue una más de las grandes historias que está dejando la temporada 2025 del RPG, una torneo que ha demostrado ser un pilar para el fortalecimiento del golf profesional en México, sumando ya más de 126 fechas a lo largo de su historia.

El Ranking Profesional de Golf continúa abriendo espacios para que los profesionales de clubes y academias puedan competir, crecer y destacar dentro de un entorno de respeto, exigencia y alto nivel deportivo.

La próxima etapa será la 15, en el Club Las Misiones, de Monterrey Nuevo León.
El RPG se traslada al norte del país, donde se espera otra jornada emocionante llena de grandes momentos.

Mexico City, Mexico (Tuesday, 29 July 2025) – LIV Golf, the global golf league energizing the sport through team competition and innovative fan experiences, has announced its return to one of Latin America’s most iconic venues. LIV Golf Mexico City 2026 will be staged from 17-19 April at the historic Club de Golf Chapultepec, marking the league’s fourth visit to Mexico, and second to the country’s capital of Mexico City.

The 2025 edition delivered one of the most exciting finishes of the season, with Torque GC captain Joaquin Niemann capturing the individual title and Legion XIII, captained by Spanish star Jon Rahm, sealing a dominant team victory. The 2026 tournament will once again see 54 of the world’s best players battle it out across three days of high-energy action in front of one of the league’s most passionate fanbases.

LIV Golf Mexico City will serve as a featured event for Torque GC. Along with 2025 season points leader Niemann (Chile), the roster currently boasts Carlos Ortiz (Mexico), Sebastian Muñoz (Colombia) and Mito Pereira (Chile), a quartet that has fast become one of the league’s most exciting teams representing the best of Latin American golf. The event will also feature Mexican star Abraham Ancer of Fireballs GC, led by Spanish legend Sergio Garcia. With strong regional representation and growing support across the Americas, LIV Golf Mexico City has quickly established itself as a key event on the league’s global calendar.

LIV Golf announces multi-year commitment to south Africa with debut event for 2026 season

Rocester, United Kingdom and Johannesburg, South Africa (Saturday, 26 July 2025) – LIV Golf, the global golf league energizing the sport through team competition and innovative fan experiences, today announced Steyn City in Johannesburg is set to host the first-ever LIV Golf South Africa from 20-22 March 2026. A multi-year commitment, the announcement represents a landmark moment for the League as it expands to the African continent for the first time, extending LIV Golf competition to five continents across the globe.

Early bird tickets for LIV Golf South Africa are now available for purchase at LIVGolf.com/southafrica2026, including a select number of Club 54 Hospitality Tickets and three-day Ground Passes to enjoy a festival of world-class golf, live music, and family-friendly experiences.

The tournament will spotlight Stinger GC, the league’s all-South African team, captained by 2010 Open Champion Louis Oosthuizen and featuring fellow countrymen Dean BurmesterBranden Grace, and 2011 Masters Champion, Charl Schwartzel. The team is expected to enjoy strong home support in March, as they compete for both individual and team titles in a field of 54 of the world’s best players across three days in front of passionate local fans.

In addition to home team Stinger GC, they’ll be joined by a host of international stars including current 2025 season points leader Joaquin Niemann (Torque GC), Bryson DeChambeau (Crushers GC), Brooks Koepka (Smash GC), Phil Mickelson (HyFlyers GC), Jon Rahm (Legion XIII), Sergio Garcia (Fireballs GC), Cam Smith (Ripper GC), Dustin Johnson (4Aces GC), and many more. The LIV Golf field is comprised of 18 major champions with a combined 28 major championships, bringing many of the sport’s biggest stars to South Africa.

The Club at Steyn City, located just north of Johannesburg, is known globally for its prestigious championship golf course designed by Nicklaus Design.
